Paula Q.

Paula Q lives in a long-gable farm on the outskirts of City Genk in Belgium, bordering the Schemmersberg nature reserve. She has a passion for arts, crafts, natural living and sustainability. This passion is expressed in her studio and in the 6000 m2 large garden that surrounds her farm. In her studio, which is located in the former stable of the farm, she creates unique objects. She gets her inspiration from the forest where she can be found every day. Another source of inspiration is the sea, the only thing she misses in Genk. Paula Q is known from Project Kleibeest, under her guidance, the participants of social workplace De Wink3l made a unique work of art, which can be viewed in the entrance hall of Portavida in Genk Belgium.

Paula Q is een Nederlands-Ierse kunstenares. Ze woont in een langgevel hoeve aan de rand van Genk die grenst aan natuurgebied Schemmersberg. Ze heeft een passie voor kunst, ambachten, natuurlijk leven en duurzaamheid. Deze passie komt tot uitdrukking in haar atelier en in de 6000 m2 grote tuin die haar hoeve omringt. In haar atelier dat in de voormalige stal van de hoeve ligt creëert ze unieke objecten. Haar inspiratie haalt ze uit het bos waar ze dagelijks te vinden is. Een andere bron van inspiratie is de zee, het enige dat ze mist in Genk.  Paula Q is bekend van Project Kleibeest, onder haar begeleiding maakten de deelnemers van De Wink3l samen met haar een uniek kunstwerk dat te bezichtigen is in de inkomhal van Portavida te Genk.
